The Raleigh metro area ranks among the top 10 places to live in the United States for 2010, according to a new study by the Web-based research firm RelocateAmerica.com.

Wake Forest is the fastest growing city in NC. Citi-Mortgage is testing a program in Florida that will give distressed homeowners six months to get their mortgage problems corrected but if they can’t Citi-Mortgage will take over the loan. If this program succeeds it could be expanded nationwide which would help Triangle area homeowners facing or in foreclosure who have only one mortgage and have it with Citi-Mortgage. That’s potentially a lot of homeowners. Treasurer of the Raleigh Reginal Assoc. of Realtors says signs from recent months portends an improving real estate market. |
