Triangle Home Sales Up Over 70% Compared to last November
The lastest numbers from the Triangle Area Residential Real Estate (TARR) Report shows that residential sales of homes in the Triangle MLS counties (including Wake, Durham and Orange counties) was up more than 70% versus last November. Average days on market also went down to 91 from 96 and the supply of homes has decreased from 11 months to 7 months year to year. All told the news is very positive given continuing problems with jobs, the health care debate and lingering concerns about the holiday shopping season and what that will means for retailers in 2010.
But companies continue to announce they are coming to the Triangle or are expanding their operations if they are already here.
